Your First Visit to Our Sant Cugart Practice
Our clients often remark how warm and inviting our Sant Cugat clinic is. We have designed our space to be comfortable and make you feel at home. You’ll find plenty of convenient parking either on the street or in the two nearby public car parks. You’ll be greeted by a friendly face at the front desk when you enter our clinic and given some essential health history paperwork to complete in the lounge. After you have completed this you’ll meet your practitioner for your consultation and assessment.
New patients are warmly welcomed to Quiropractic Remedy Centre
Plan for 45 minutes for your First Visit. We need you to fill in your health history paperwork in our office, so allow yourself an additional 15 minutes and come early! Your health is important to us!
We want to take the time we need during your First Visit.
The Chiropractic Consultation
The purpose of our initial consultation is to get to know each other and determine if we can help you.
We Listen
During a brief conversation and review of your health history, we try to determine if you’re a good candidate for your chosen care. We’ll ask a few questions and do a lot of listening.
A Partnership
The consultation also gives you an opportunity to see our clinic, interview your chiropractor and learn a bit more about chiropractic. Since ours is a partnership approach to better health, it’s important that you’re comfortable with the personalities, procedures and policies of our clinic. The consultation is a great way to find that out.
The Next Step
If we don’t think we can help, we’ll tell you. If we think we can help, and you agree, we can usually proceed to the next step, which is a thorough chiropractic assessment.
Our clients appreciate the fact that we explain everything in advance!
The Chiropractic Assessment
The consultation helps us to determine if you’re likely to be suitable to receive chiropractic care. Our thorough chiropractic assessment might be very different than some other health practitioners you have visited. Our goal is to determine what areas of your spine and nervous system are involved and related to your health challenges. We achieve this by a postural assessment, some neurological tests, orthopaedic tests, range of motion evaluations, leg length analysis and motion/static palpation.
After your chiropractic consultation and assessment, your practitioner will bring you back to the front desk to schedule your Report of Findings and Recommendations.
